Have you already signed The Manhattan Declaration?
The Manhattan Declaration is a concise document put together by leading American Christians who wished to express and garner support for the traditional Christian (Catholic and Protestant) values currently under threat in our country.
The first value expressed by the declaration is the sanctity of life and a firm opposition to all forms of violence against unborn life as well as the elderly and disabled. Nearly half a million people have signed the petition to date, amongst them some very prominent religious and pro-life leaders (including our very own Marjorie Dannenfelser!).
In light of January’s designation as Sanctity of Life Month, the folks at the Manhattan Declaration are having a video contest and are asking people to answer this question:
What do you think is the greatest challenge currently facing American society, and what should Christians do about it?
Video submissions will be voted on by Facebook users and submissions with the highest rating will win a prize.
Check out the contest and get more details at: http://manhattandeclaration.org/videocontest
If you submit a video, be sure to let us know!
