The Girl Scouts Ties to Planned Parenthood Don’t Look So Sweet

The Washington Times recently published an article of a boycott of Girl Scout cookies in Waco, Texas. Pro-life activists are boycotting the cookies because of the relationship the organization has with Planned Parenthood. Although the Girl Scouts claim to be neutral, there is much evidence revealing their relationship with the number one abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

According to our friends at LifeNews.com, for fourteen years the Girl Scouts in Waco, Texas co-sponsored a sex-ed conference with Planned Parenthood.  At the conference the book, “It’s Perfectly Normal” was distributed to all the children.  In the book it states that abortion can be “a positive experience”. Also, earlier this month, a young Girl Scout employee, Renise Rodriguez made the mistake of stopping by the office to do extra work on her own time in a T-shirt bearing the words: “Pray to End Abortion.” A supervisor ordered her to turn the shirt inside out or leave the office. She left, for good.

With inspiring courage such as Renise’s, we all can stand up to Planned Parenthood and anyone who is associated with them.  The message needs to be affirmed that abortion is not tolerated and we will not give in until Roe v. Wade is overturned and Planned Parenthood is defunded.
