Recently, a pro-assisted suicide group, inappropriately named Compassion in Dying, launched a hotline. Instead of helping individuals cope with life-endangering issues, this group informs callers of their legal rights to commit suicide. Even though it is actually a crime in Great Britain to assist a person in committing suicide, some wonder whether or not the operators of the new hotline will experience any legal repercussions.
