Bike for the Unborn

What do bikes and pro-life organizations have in common?  Not much, except for the upcoming event “Bike for the Unborn”.  This bike riding pilgrimage is going to take place in Southern California from June 12-16. It is a bike ride to raise money for pro-life organizations, but just as importantly, for “the rejuvenation and renewal of pro-lifers who come from coast to coast.” The bikers will pray and work to cultivate a culture of life.

It will be 250 miles over 5 days, but pro-lifers can participate to any level they want. They can ride all or part of the trip, join up only for the prayer and worship at the stops along the way, or come to cheer the riders on!  Get ready! 250 miles in 5 days. The participants will be spending 2 to 5 hours a day riding, and the rest of the day will be spent in prayer, and resting along the California coastline

The pilgrimage will start on Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 at 10am at the St. Gabriel Mission, nine miles east of Los Angeles. It will end at the same place on the evening of Saturday, June 16th.
