On January 20, 2011, House Speaker John Boehner held a press conference with Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) to introduce the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act.”
Speaker John Boehner remarked, “A ban on taxpayer funding of abortion is the will of the people… and it ought to be the [law] of the land.”
