Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Darlene Miller for Minnesota’s Second Congressional District.
Former Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, Vice President of Government Affairs for the Susan B. Anthony List, first announced the endorsement on-air during a radio interview with Jack Tomczak and Andrew Lee of “Up and At ’Em,” Twin Cities News Talk on AM1130.
“Protecting the most vulnerable and building up women as leaders are not only compatible choices, but essential to the well-being of our society. Susan B. Anthony List is proud to endorse a principled and articulate woman leader like Darlene Miller,” said Rep. Musgrave. “If elected, she will be a champion for unborn children, women, and pro-life taxpayers. We look forward to having her strong leadership in Washington where she will be an excellent addition to the Pro-life Women’s Caucus.”

Darlene Miller released the following statement in response to the endorsement:
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Susan B. Anthony List and admire their work to save the lives of the unborn through advancing pro-life leadership and enacting lifesaving laws. If elected, I pledge to be an unwavering voice for unborn children and their mothers, and will firmly oppose the use of any taxpayer funds to pay for abortions.”
Susan B. Anthony List and its Political Action Committees, the SBA List Candidate Fund and Women Speak Out PAC, spent $16.71 million in the 2014 election cycle to defeat pro-abortion incumbents and elect pro-life candidates to federal and statewide office. The SBA List is dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion.
