Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Candidate Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Julia Letlow to represent Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.
“We are proud to endorse Julia Letlow in the race for her late husband’s seat. In a time of unbelievable tragedy, Julia demonstrated incredible resilience and dedication to the vision that she and her husband Luke shared, which includes protecting our nation’s most vulnerable,” said the Honorable Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s vice president of government affairs. “She is 100% pro-life and remembers the moment she became a mother herself as one of the most important in her life. We believe she will be a tremendous addition to the pro-life women in the historic 117th Congress and a steadfast voice for the unborn.”
Julia Letlow is a native of Monroe, Louisiana and is raising her two young children in Start, Louisiana. With a doctorate in communications, she has held various communications roles in higher education. She serves as the executive director of external affairs and strategic communications at University of Louisiana Monroe. The Letlow family has regularly attended the Monroe March for Life, and Ms. Letlow actively campaigned with her late husband to raise awareness of the life issue.
