Donnelly claims to be pro-life but can’t be trusted to vote pro-life in Washington
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced that its field team of 154 canvassers has visited more than 562,000 Indiana voters ahead of Election Day to elect pro-life Mike Braun and defeat incumbent Senator Joe Donnelly. Additionally, SBA List has held 11 in-state media events, reached 409,200 voters through persuasive voter contact mail, and made 122,686 live voter calls.
“Senator Donnelly claims to be pro-life, but in Washington he can’t be trusted to vote pro-life,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Since July of 2017, SBA List’s field team has visited more than 562,000 Indiana voters who don’t consistently get to the polls to educate them about Senator Donnelly’s record of betrayal, including his votes to block Justice Brett Kavanaugh and to send taxpayer dollars to abortion giant Planned Parenthood, which performs 71 percent of abortions in Indiana. The pro-life voters of Indiana have had it with Senator Donnelly. Hoosiers deserve better than a senator who sides with the radical abortion lobby over his own constituents. Donnelly is out of step and must go.”
SBA List’s field team of more than 1,100 canvassers visited 2.7 million voters this election cycle across the battleground states of Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Montana, Florida, Ohio, West Virginia, Arizona, and Tennessee. SBA List held three press tours in Indiana to urge Sen. Donnelly to vote to confirm each of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominees, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, and to announce the field program.
