Washington, D.C. – Ahead of today’s vote by Democrats on the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee on advancing articles of impeachment against President Trump, the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) released the following statement:
“Democratic Party leaders’ extremism – displayed in their drive to oust President Trump, as well as their support for taxpayer-funded abortion on demand through birth and even infanticide – is a major political liability going into 2020,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “President Trump is the most effective pro-life president in the history of our nation. From stopping taxpayer funding of the abortion industry at home and abroad, to protecting the conscience rights of pro-life Americans, to the confirmation of over 150 outstanding federal judges, he has beyond delivered on his promises to the voters who elected him. Calls for impeachment have been partisan from the beginning and motivated in part by opposition to the President’s pro-life policy victories.
