Washington, D.C. – Ahead of today’s vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on impeachment, the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) released the following statement:
“President Trump is the most effective pro-life president in the history of our nation. From stopping taxpayer funding of the abortion industry at home and abroad, to protecting the conscience rights of pro-life Americans, to the confirmation of more than 150 outstanding federal judges, he has beyond delivered on his promises to the voters who elected him. Calls for impeachment have been partisan from the beginning and motivated in part by opposition to the President’s pro-life policy victories,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
“Democratic Party leaders’ extremism – displayed in their drive to oust President Trump, as well as their support for taxpayer-funded abortion on demand through birth and even infanticide – is a major political liability going into 2020.
“We thank Ranking Member Doug Collins in the House, Chairman Graham on the Senate side, and all our pro-life Republican allies in Congress for standing strong against this assault on the will of the American people. SBA List is proud to stand with President Trump and our field team will be working through Election Day to secure his re-election.”
