In response to news that President-elect Donald Trump will meet with Carly Fiorina on Monday, December 12, Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) president Marjorie Dannenfelser made the following statement:
“We are excited about President-elect Trump’s meeting with Carly Fiorina and particularly hopeful that they will discuss the Secretary of State position. Carly not only has an impressive knowledge of both foreign and domestic policy, she is articulate and utterly fearless – key qualities for representing American interests on a global stage. She is an outspoken advocate for unborn children and their mothers, going on offense to expose Planned Parenthood’s horrific scheme to profit from selling babies’ organs. Unlike Hillary Clinton, who used her office to promote and expand abortion overseas, funded by U.S. taxpayers, Carly will stand up for the vulnerable and won’t be intimidated by the international abortion lobby.
“Nominating Carly for an important role would be a smart choice for President-elect Trump to advance his pro-life priorities. We are encouraged by this meeting and confident about Carly’s future in public service.”
