Field Team Will Knock 35,000 Doors Before Election Day

Washington, D.C.Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out (WSO PAC), today announced the launch of a $100,000 independent expenditure campaign to reelect Representative Mia Love in Utah’s 4th congressional district.

Pro-life activists have begun canvassing this week and plan to knock on more than 35,000 doors by Election Day. A digital ad and phone campaign will supplement the door-to-door effort which will target pro-lifers who do not vote in every election.

“Mia Love is a pro-life champion. She’s leading the fight to protect the conscience rights of taxpayers in Utah and nationwide by defunding the abortion industry and investigating their brutal harvest and sale of baby organs. That’s why we are working so hard to encourage Utah voters to turn out on Election Day and send Mia Love back to Washington. She stands up for their values and the those of all pro-life Americans,” said SBA List president Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Love’s opponent Doug Owens would rubber stamp Hillary Clinton’s extreme agenda which includes repealing the longstanding Hyde Amendment and forcing taxpayers to pay for abortion on-demand.”

In addition to fighting for Mia Love, more than 400 SBA List and Women Speak Out Canvassers are active in the key battleground states of Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, working to defeat Hillary Clinton and pro-abortion Senate candidates.  To-date, the field team has knocked on more than 575,000 doors.

Mia Love was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014. Prior to serving in Congress, Rep. Love was mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah. Born in New York to Haitian immigrants, Rep. Love says she has lived the “American dream” and has dedicated her life to giving back.

Susan B. Anthony List and its Political Action Committees, the SBA List Candidate Fund and Women Speak Out PAC, spent $16.71 million in the 2014 election cycle to defeat pro-abortion incumbents and elect pro-life candidates to federal and statewide office. The SBA List is dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List emphasizes the education, promotion, mobilization, and election of pro-life women.  The SBA List is a network of more than 465,000 pro-life Americans nationwide.
