Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Lynne Blankenbeker for U.S House of Representatives in New Hampshire’s 2nd District. The primary election will take place on September 11.
“Susan B. Anthony List proudly endorses Lynne Blankenbeker, a fearless pro-life, pro-woman leader,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “A veteran, nurse, lawyer, and former state legislator, Lynne is a highly accomplished public servant. While in office she fought to end barbaric partial-birth and late-term abortions, and to stop the flow of tax dollars to the abortion industry. She will stand up for authentic health care that protects the life and dignity of both unborn children and their mothers. We encourage pro-life voters to get out to the polls and support Lynne Blankenbeker this September.”
Blankenbeker is a captain in the Navy Reserves. As a nurse in both the Air Force and then the Navy, she has deployed three times in support of operations in the Middle East. She has also served two active duty tours in Washington, D.C. – one at the Pentagon, and another at the Defense Health Headquarters where she was a key health care policy adviser. Between deployments she served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. In 2012 she was named “Woman of the Year” by the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women. Lynne lives in Concord, New Hampshire with her husband and has a daughter, Shannon.
