Calls on Biden & Harris to Immediately Condemn Attacks on Faith
Washington, D.C. –The national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) issued the following statement in light of renewed attacks on Amy Coney Barrett’s faith:
“These attacks on Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith are reprehensible and disgusting,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “We call on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to immediately condemn these attacks. The Democratic Party agenda of abortion on demand through birth and even infanticide, paid for by taxpayers, is already deeply unpopular even among the party rank and file. Playing to the prejudices of an increasingly narrow, radical base would be a big political mistake for Democrats, one that risks alienating voters of every faith.
“We thank our friend Vice President Pence for calling out intolerance toward Catholics and other Christians. Bigotry against people of faith has no place in our nation, let alone Congress.”
