President Trump Continues to Deliver on Pro-life Promises
Washington, D.C. – The national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) offered the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed Kyle Duncan’s nomination to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
“We thank President Trump for following through on his promise to appoint pro-life judges, which he has done swiftly and consistently since coming into office,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List. “Kyle Duncan is a brilliant attorney with wide-ranging experience across the legal spectrum, including his bold defense of religious liberty and conscience rights. As a judge on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, he will follow the rule of law and be faithful to the text of the Constitution.
“We are grateful to Leader McConnell and Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley for prioritizing the confirmation of judges even in the face of obstructionism by pro-abortion Senators who are doing everything they can to slow down the process.”
Kyle Duncan is a Louisiana native. He acted as lead counsel in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, which successfully challenged the abortion drug mandate under Obamacare.
