Washington, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Representative Tom McClintock for re-election in California’s 4th Congressional District.
“Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund is proud to endorse Congressman Tom McClintock, a consistent advocate for the most vulnerable,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Tom has worked diligently in Congress to protect babies from late-term abortions after five months of pregnancy, stop the flow of tax dollars to the abortion industry, safeguard the conscience rights of pro-life health care workers, and more. His opponent, Jessica Morse, is an extremist backed by the radical pro-abortion group EMILY’S List. Congressman McClintock will defend unborn children and their mothers and stand up to the abortion lobby. We urge California voters to re-elect him.”
Tom McClintock has represented the 4th District in Congress since 2009. He is a co-sponsor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Conscience Protection Act, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, the Life at Conception Act, and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
Previously, McClintock served for 22 years in the California legislature. He was elected chairman of the Ventura County Republican Party at age 23 and was chief of staff to State Senator Ed Davis from 1980 to 1982. He and his wife Lori have two children.
