Lesko’s Extremist Opponent Supports Partial-birth Abortion
Washington, DC ─ Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Representative Debbie Lesko for re-election in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
“Congresswoman Debbie Lesko is a pro-life champion who works tirelessly to protect unborn children and their mothers,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Arizona voters sent a resounding message earlier this year when they elected Debbie, a staunch advocate for the dignity of every human being, and rejected the radical abortion lobby. Rep. Debbie Lesko was elected to Congress in April of 2018 in a special election for the 8th District, defeating NARAL-backed Hiral Tiperneni. Previously she served in the Arizona legislature for nine years, including as president pro tempore of the state senate. She is a co-sponsor of the Heartbeat Protection Act and the Life at Conception Act. She lives in Peoria with her husband, Joe, and has three children.
