Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Rep. Claudia Tenney for re-election in New York’s 22nd Congressional District.
“SBA List Candidate Fund is proud to endorse Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, whose outspoken pro-life, pro-woman leadership distinguishes her in New York’s delegation,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Claudia has spent her career in office fighting to protect vulnerable unborn children and their mothers, unlike her opponent Anthony Brindisi, an extremist who has consistently voted to expand late-term abortion. Brindisi will rubber-stamp the demands of the radical abortion lobby, but Tenney has a proven record of standing up for the defenseless unborn, as well as the taxpayers. Pro-life New Yorkers can count on Congresswoman Tenney to be a strong voice for them in Washington and we urge voters to re-elect her.”
Rep. Claudia Tenney was first elected to Congress in 2016 after representing portions of the 22nd District for six years in the New York State Assembly. Tenney is a co-sponsor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, popular legislation to end late-term abortions after five months of pregnancy, which she also championed in the state assembly. A member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus, she is also a co-sponsor of the Life at Conception Act and the Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017.
Tenney is an attorney, co-owner of a family business, and a mother whose son Trey serves as 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
