PRO-LIFE LEADER TO BE FEATURED AT WOMEN WORKING FOR CHANGE CONFERENCE
SBA List President Available to Discuss Pro-Life Women Candidates for National and Statewide Office
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser will be a featured speaker at Project GOPink’s “Women Working for Change” 2011 conference at the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor and will be available to discuss the 2012 election cycle and the advancement of pro-life women in the political process. The conference plans to mobilize women across the country in an effort to help more conservative women seek federal, state and local office in 2012 and beyond.
During the 2010 election cycle, SBA List spent $11 million and was involved in 90 races, 62 of which resulted in victories. Successes included: defeating 15 of 20 so-called “pro-life” Democrats who voted for abortion funding in the health care reform bill, increasing the number of pro-life women in the House by 70 percent, filling the void of pro-life women in the U.S. Senate, and increasing the number of pro-life women governors from one to four.
“Pro-life women are revved up and ready to go on the offensive in 2012,” said Dannenfelser. “The ranks of pro-life voters are growing in size, number and influence, and it’s women who are leading this charge.”
