“A Formidable Advocate for Unborn Children and Their Mothers and Opponent of the Abortion Lobby”
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Kathaleen Wall for retiring Congressman Ted Poe’s open seat in Texas’ second congressional district. Wall is part of SBA List’s first round of endorsed candidates in the 2018 cycle.
“We are thrilled to endorse pro-life champion Kathaleen Wall,” said former U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Kathaleen’s tireless efforts to protect the vulnerable stem from her deep convictions about the dignity of life. She will be a formidable advocate for unborn children and their mothers and opponent of the abortion lobby in Congress. We greatly look forward to working together to save lives.”
Kathaleen Wall accepted the endorsement saying:
“I am grateful for the support of Susan B. Anthony List, an organization dedicated to the most precious of human rights, the right to life. I will always fight to uphold the foundational American value that every one of us is created equal and deserves the protection of our laws, including babies in the womb.”
Wall has been an active leader in Texas’ pro-life community and is also backed by Texas Right to Life PAC and pro-life Governor Greg Abbott. Wall is a small businesswoman, focusing on high-tech startups and sales. She and her husband, Hollowa, have been married for 19 years and live the Houston area.
Susan B. Anthony List and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out spent more than $18 million in the 2016 election cycle, knocking on more than 1.1 million doors in battleground states to defeat Hillary Clinton and maintain a pro-life Senate. SBA List is dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List emphasizes the education, promotion, mobilization, and election of pro-life women. The SBA List is a network of more than 600,000 pro-life Americans nationwide.
