Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of State Representative Christina Hagan in Ohio’s 16th congressional district. She is a member of SBA List’s National Pro-life Women’s Caucus.
“Susan B. Anthony List exists to bolster pro-life champions, especially women, like Christina Hagan who will fight for lifesaving laws and policies for unborn children and their mothers,” said former U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “During her three terms in the Ohio statehouse, Christina proved she is committed to life-giving alternatives to abortion and to ensuring every child has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We know Christina will continue to champion life for every American in Washington. Women, children, and pro-life taxpayers need her stalwart pro-life voice in Congress.”
Christina Hagan accepted the endorsement saying:
“What an incredible honor to receive SBA List’s endorsement. I am grateful for your trust in me and commit to fight for life in the halls of Congress when I am elected November 6, 2018. To every unborn child, I pledge: You deserve the right to life, and before America hears your voice, I will be your strongest fighter and greatest champion.”
Hagan has represented Ohio’s 50th House district since 2011. She supports and contributes to local pregnancy resource centers. Christina and her husband Adam have one daughter and are expecting twins in November.
