“Carol will take no nonsense from the abortion lobby”
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Carol Miller for U.S. House of Representatives in West Virginia’s third congressional district. Miller is a member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus.
“Carol Miller is an active member of our National Pro-life Women’s Caucus and has spent her time in the West Virginia House of Delegates fighting to prevent exploitation of young women and girls by the abortion industry,” said former U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “West Virginia deserves a strong pro-life leader like Carol in Congress. She will serve all Mountaineers, born and unborn, and take no nonsense from the abortion lobby. We are excited to endorse her and encourage voters to support her.”
Carol Miller accepted the endorsement saying:
“I am proudly pro-life and honored to be endorsed by Susan B. Anthony List. Reverence for life is a deeply held value to West Virginians and most Americans, and sadly, many politicians in Washington have lost touch with that. I am looking forward to taking on the swamp, fighting for our values, and working with President Trump to carry out the pro-life agenda.”
Miller has served in the West Virginia House of Delegates since 2007 and in 2015 was named Assistant Majority Leader. In 2016 she became the first Republican woman to preside over the House of Delegates. She has co-sponsored legislation to protect minor girls from being taken for abortions without their parents’ knowledge. She is an active member of her community as a small business owner and farmer. She and her husband have two children and four grandchildren.
