Coalition of 40+ Groups Demand Congress Include Conscience Protections in Must-Pass Legislation
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Call2Conscience.com campaign, led by the national pro-life Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) and including more than 40 national and statewide groups, will host a webcast featuring Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) and national pro-life leaders tonight, February 26, at 9:00 pm ET. The webcast will rally pro-life Americans and call on Congress to include conscience protection from the Obama Administration’s abortion-inducing drug mandate in any upcoming must-pass legislation.
Americans can sign up for the webcast at www.Call2Conscience.com, which also features a grassroots action center where constituents can contact their representatives.
“Non-religious and religious entities alike must be able to act within their conscience, not forced to be complicit in the destruction of innocent life with abortion-inducing drugs. We must urge our representatives in Congress to safeguard that right to be free from government compulsion.” said Marilyn Musgrave, Vice President for Government Affairs at the SBA List.
