Melissa Ortiz: Pro-Life Advocate for Americans with Disabilities

Melissa Ortiz is a passionate advocate for Americans with disabilities. She’s dedicated to fighting for the rights of babies in the womb who have been diagnosed with fetal anomalies, such as Spina Bifida and Down Syndrome. In 2017, Melissa was appointed by President Trump as the Commissioner of the Administration on Disabilities, working to advance employment opportunities and community outreach programs for disabled people. She has also bent the ears of many across the country as Ms. Wheelchair New York 2005. She calls herself a “happy patriot” and is passionate about driving a dialogue between political advocates and people living with disabilities.

Melissa has worked with SBA List to expose the lies of abortion advocates such as Margaret Sanger – demanding in Congress that her bust in the National Portrait Gallery be removed. Melissa is a fearless defender of life for all people, and a strong witness to what it means to be pro-life.
