Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) hailed the confirmation of President Trump’s 100th judge:
“Today the pro-life movement celebrates 100 judges nominated by President Trump and confirmed by our Senate pro-life majority led by Leader McConnell,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “President Trump’s commitment to nominating judges who will interpret the Constitution and not legislate from the bench rallied pro-life voters to help elect him, and he has kept that promise. Across the country for decades, activist judges have been a ‘brick wall’ for abortion on demand, striking down even the most modest efforts to protect unborn children and mothers. Thanks to President Trump, that brick wall is crumbling, and power will be returned back to the people where it belongs to legislate on the issue of life. We additionally thank Senators Lindsey Graham and Chuck Grassley for their current and past efforts on the Senate Judiciary Committee for prioritizing judicial nominees and getting them to the Senate floor.”
