“We are encouraged by the victories of these three strong pro-life women in the state of Illinois,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Unfortunately, Democratic state legislators in Illinois continue to promote the radical expansion of abortion on demand through birth, enacting some of the nation’s most extreme abortion laws and working to make Illinois the abortion capital of the Midwest. In contrast, these three women leaders understand the value of every human life and will fight to defend the innocent and vulnerable in Congress.
“We offer condolences to our friend Congressman Lipinski, who fought fiercely and admirably in this race, and to the pro-life citizens of his district who have lost a champion,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
“We are proud to endorse Mary Miller, a strong pro-life, pro-woman leader who has had an outstanding impact in her community,” said Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List Vice President of Government Affairs.
“Mississippi is a strongly pro-life state, and we are encouraged to see pro-life lawmakers put forth compassionate legislation to protect children from lethal discrimination abortion. Abortions carried out because of a baby’s sex, race, or potential disability, such as Down syndrome, is no less than modern-day eugenics,” said SBA List State Policy Director Sue Liebel.
“We appreciate Secretary General Almagro’s remarks and we hope they are heard throughout the region and the world. He could not have been clearer: the right to life is a fundamental principle and right,” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
“Steve Bullock is an abortion extremist who vetoed compassionate, common sense legislation to protect babies born alive after failed abortions. Senator Steve Daines, meanwhile, has fought tirelessly for unborn children and their mothers in Montana and across the country,” said Mallory Quigley, national spokeswoman for Susan B. Anthony List and Women Speak Out PAC’s independent expenditure campaign. “The SBA List and Women Speak Out PAC team will work now through Election Day to protect pro-life Senator Daines as well as our pro-life Senate majority, which has worked with President Trump to confirm a record number of constitutionalist judges, including Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.”
