Marth Roby served on the Montgomery, AL City Council and worked as an attorney before her election to the House of Representatives.

Rep. Roby quickly distinguished herself as a pro-life leader in the House of Representatives. She was a co-sponsor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, to protect babies who can feel pain at 20 weeks and beyond. She also co-sponsored the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, to protect taxpayer dollars from funding harmful abortions. She has consistently advocated for pro-life legislation in her remarks on the House floor. She is also a member of the Congressional Pro-life Caucus.

Rep. Roby is married and a mother of two children. She and her family are involved in their church back home and various ministries.
