Kay Ivey

“I am a pro-life conservative who believes every life is precious, and I’m honored to be endorsed by Susan B. Anthony List, an organization that works tirelessly to save the lives of the unborn. As governor, I will always defend unborn life, starting at conception, and advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves. And with the support of Alabamians, I look forward to continuing to serve this great state.”

Biography

Kay Ivey has served as Governor of Alabama since last year, working hard to promote conservative values throughout the state. She wasted no time in restoring the people’s trust in the state government, growing the job bank, and promoting a stronger education system for all of Alabama. Kay was elected Treasurer in 2012, and has promoted smart, conservative budget principles in that position. Before serving as Governor, she was the first Republican woman to hold the office of Lieutenant Governor for two terms. As a teacher, Ivey is passionate about education and the right life, saying that “every child in Alabama deserves quality education and the opportunity to live out their American dream.” Ivey is a member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus.
