Don Bacon has served as a fearless pro-life leader in the House since his election in 2016. He has co-sponsored the Pain Capable Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Preventing Maternal Deaths Act, and the Conscience Protection Act, fighting hard to end taxpayer funding of abortion. Bacon is a retired Air Force Brigadier General who now serves Nebraska’s 2nd District. His extensive military career includes 16 assignments, including four international deployments throughout the Middle East and Iraq. He now serves in the House on the committees of Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Agriculture. Bacon and his wife Angie live in Papillion, Nebraska with their four children.
