Dan Forest


Dan Forest was the first Republican to be elected as lieutenant governor of North Carolina in over 20 years. In this role, he also serves as president of the state Senate, and sits on the State Boards of Education and Community Colleges. Dan is the former board chairman of Wake Forest Pregnancy Support Service and an active community, business, and faith leader. He is the founder and former president of the faith-based Triangle Leadership Forum and a regular volunteer at the Durham Rescue Mission. Dan lives in Raleigh with his wife, Alice, and their four children.
