On Friday, the Associated Press reported that Planned Parenthood is ending performance of abortions at seven clinics in three Arizona cities after the state legislature passed a law that restricts abortion. What are the restrictions? A woman seeking an abortion must see a doctor the day before the abortion to be informed about the risks and only doctors can perform the actual procedure.
That’s right: the state legislature said that only doctors can perform this violent, invasive, life-ending and life-altering procedure. If you’re scratching your head wondering why this gruesome procedure wasn’t already limited to being performed by doctors, you’re not alone…but don’t look to Planned Parenthood for agreement.
We won’t complain is Planned Parenthood is ending abortions at seven locations, no doubt saving the lives of an untold number of unborn children and protecting women from the violence of abortion!
