On February 1, The Susan B. Anthony listed hosted its fifth annual Campaign For Life Gala. This year, the event was extra special for the Susan B. Anthony List because this year marks the 20th anniversary. Thanks to the support and contributions of people all over the country, we are now up to 330,000 members nationwide and have helped to elect over 90 authentic pro-life leaders to Congress.
It was inspiring to see over 500 people in attendance at Wednesday night’s Gala, all gathered together for the common cause of fighting for life. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), the keynote speaker, reminded us all of why this fight is so crucial and why America is a pro-life nation saying:
“America is great because God has blessed America and America has always honored those blessings by being an example to the world…there is nothing that America can give right now that is more important than to show that all life irrespective of the circumstances of its creation, irrespective of the circumstances of its birth, irrespective of the conditions they find themselves in, all life is worthy of protection.”
