NARAL launches dirty anti-SBA List attack ad
The pro-abortion lobby is very afraid of us – so they’ve stooped to a new low.
Yesterday we got our powerful “Charlotte” ad up on the air in North Carolina through our partner, Women Speak Out PAC.
As you know, North Carolina is a key state we must win to kick Harry Reid out of power in the Senate -- all in order to advance popular legislation to protect babies and moms.
So how did NARAL respond to our ad buy exposing Sen. Hagan’s extreme support for painful late-term abortions?
They’ve launched their own anti-SBA-List ad buy – backed by tens of thousands of dollars – and packed with shameful distortions.
Why is NARAL unleashing this disgusting attack on the SBA List and its members?
Because they know they cannot win the debate over whether painful, brutal late-term abortions should be allowed in America.
They can’t attack our message, so instead they are attacking the messenger.
So how do we respond?
We don’t take the bait and make this a debate about us. That’s what they want us to do.
Instead, we continue to make it about the babies. We continue to tell powerful, moving stories like Charlotte’s. And how politicians like Kay Hagan refuses to protect little girls like her.
Help us now – NARAL’s desperate ad means our message is clearly working.
The Women Speak Out team has already knocked on more than 261,292 doors, having one-to-one conversations with pro-life voters and urging them to turn out to vote on Election Day.
Our ground game is key -- and this TV ad campaign will round out our efforts to ensure we reach as many people as possible. By putting even MORE funding behind our Charlotte ad, we can ensure NARAL’s disgusting ad backfires on them.Read More

Marco Rubio: Addressing the Disastrous Consequences of China’s One-Child Policy
Today is the 34th anniversary of China's coercive one-child policy. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote an op-ed in Townhall.com decrying this terrible human rights abuse that leads to millions of abortions, mostly of baby girls. Rubio is one of 11 potential presidential candidates who supports limiting abortion at 5 months of pregnancy, when a baby can feel the excruciating pain of abortion.
Addressing the Disastrous Consequences of China’s One-Child Policy
Marco Rubio | Sep 25, 2014
...For over three decades, China’s One-Child Policy has condemned approximately 37 million Chinese girls – who the policy helped deem unwanted or “surplus” – to abortion, infanticide, abandonment and human trafficking. In recent years, the Chinese government has relaxed this disastrous policy and ironically, China now faces demographic decline in the coming decades, in part due to the One-Child Policy. However, innocent Chinese parents are still forced to endure abortions and sterilizations in the parts of the country that are still subject to it.
There have also been additional long-term consequences of China’s One-Child Policy that we see today, including one that I am actively trying to address through legislation I’ve introduced called the Girls Count Act...Read More

Pro-life Leaders and Congressmen Call on Senate to Pass HR7
Two days ago a Government Accountability Office report revealed that over 1,000 taxpayer-subsidized ObamaCare plans across the country cover abortions… for any reason, at any stage of pregnancy. ObamaCare has caused an estimated 111,500 more abortions to be paid for by taxpayers.
Today SBA List joined pro-life congressmen and leaders of other pro-life organizations for a press conference at the Capitol. We called on the U.S. Senate to immediately pass H.R. 7, the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act sponsored by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ).
(L) SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser talks with Rep. Chris Smith before the press conference; (R) Rep. Chris Smith tells President Obama, "The American people don't like being lied to!"
SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser speaks at H.R. 7 press conference
This life-saving legislation passed the pro-life House of Representatives almost a year ago… but Obama’s pro-abortion Senate, led by Majority Leader Harry Reid, has blocked it ever since.
Pro-life women and members of Congress gave a clear message at the press conference: the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act must be passed immediately to protect the unborn and the consciences of millions of pro-life Americans. Taxpayer funding of abortion is deeply unpopular with Americans, both pro-life and pro-choice, and Senators opposing this bill are betraying their constituents.Read More
