Marilyn Musgrave

HON. MARILYN MUSGRAVE: Former president of her local Right to Life Chapter and proud proponent of Life, Marilyn has fought vigorously against abortion as a Colorado state Senator and House Representative.  She then served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is currently the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Susan B. Anthony List.

Jill Stanek

JILL STANEK: After witnessing the deaths of babies born alive following an abortion as a nurse in Illinois, Jill Stanek went public and has become a national figure for the pro-life cause.  Jill has now testified twice before the Judiciary Constitution Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives and in several state legislatures on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

Rebecca Kleefisch

LT. GOV. REBECCA KLEEFISCH: Endorsed by Wisconsin Right to Life, Pro-Life Wisconsin, & the SBA List, this cancer-survivor was elected Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor in 2010. Rebecca is the proud mother of two daughters and has led efforts to defend Life in the badger state.

Jean Schmidt

REP. JEAN SCHMIDT: Former president of Cincinnati Right to Life and Ohio State Representative, Congresswoman Schmidt has been a stalwart pro-life leader in the U.S. House. She has worked to defund Planned Parenthood, educate women on the abortion-breast cancer link, and has been a vocal advocate for victims of sexual abuse.

 Star Parker

 STAR PARKER: Star Parker is the founder and president of the Centre for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), a nationally syndicated columnist, a regular news commentator on multiple national outlets and an author. Her first hand experience as a post-abortive and former welfare dependant mother has made Star Parker shine brightly as s prolife witness.

 Alveda King

DR. ALVEDA C. KING: As the niece of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Alveda C. King comes from a long line of civil rights activists. Her cause – fighting the injustice of abortion! A former college professor and Georgia State Representative, King currently serves as the Pastoral Associate for Priests for Life and the Director of African American Outreach.

Barbara Lyons

BARBARA LYONS: The executive director of Wisconsin Right to Life, Barbara has been fighting to protect unborn children and their mothers from the violence of abortion in Wisconsin since 1975. She is a well-know speaker and author across the state with expertise on all pro-life subjects from abortion to embryonic stem cell research. She is married, the mother of four, the mother-in-law of three, and "nana" of three granddaughters.

 KimReynolds

LT. GOV. KIM REYNOLDS: As Iowa’s Lieutenant Governor, Kim Reynolds has been a vocal advocate for women and unborn children in the Hawkeye State. While in the Iowa State Senate, Reynolds sponsored SF 233, a bill to recognize that life begins at conception and grant full rights and privileges to unborn children under the law. The Brandstad-Reynolds Administration has worked diligently with Iowa state legislators to attempt to defund abortion providers and protect Life.

Jennifer Bowen

JENIFER BOWEN: Hired as Iowa Right to Life’s Executive Director in 2010, Jenifer made increasing grassroots action her top priority and is fired up to defund Planned Parenthood and stop tele-med abortion in Iowa. Jenifer holds a B.A. in Counseling from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA, and has counseled women in crisis in both religious and secular institutions. Jenifer says "Counseling pregnant women and the pregnancy resource centers are close to my heart.” She is a rising star in the pro-life movement.

MelissaOhden

MELISSA OHDEN: Melissa is the survivor of a failed saline infusion abortion in 1977. Despite being born alive at approximately seven months gestation, she has not only survived but thrived! A counselor and pro-life activist, Melissa works internationally to raise awareness of the impact of abortion on women, men, families and communities. She and her husband Ryan have a daughter, Olivia, who was born at the same hospital where Melissa’s life was supposed to end.

PAULA WESTWOOD: As Executive Director of Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Right to Life Educational Foundation, Paula works with the board and membership to actively support and encourage pro-life legislators; aggressively further pro-life legislation; monitor public and private organizations on life-related decisions and practices (especially leading abortion chain Planned Parenthood); and keep the pro-life truth visible before the public through media, events, activism, and any other means possible.

 Ruth Yorston

 

RUTH YORSTON: Ruth grew up in a pro-choice family and worked side-by-side with her mother at the Ft. Wayne Women’s Health Organization abortion clinic in Ft. Wayne, IN. Never hearing in her church that abortion was wrong, Ruth was active in her church, even teaching children’s Sunday school, when she took the part time job at the abortion clinic. It wasn’t until almost a year later that a friend lovingly challenged her thoughts on abortion and shared with her the truth that life begins at conception. She quit the job at Ft. Wayne Women’s Health Organization the following week.

 Susan Armacost

SUSAN ARMACOST: Prior to becoming PAC Director for Wisconsin Right to Life and working to elect pro-life candidates in Wisconsin, Susan worked in social work. She has always been active in the right-to-life movement both in Wisconsin and in Maryland, where she was the co-director of a crisis pregnancy center. Susan is the mother of three grown children, and the grandmother of Natalie, Ava, Lyndsey and Audrey (considered by their grandmother to be the most adorable grandchildren ever).

 Julaine Appling

JULAINE APPLING: President of Wisconsin Family Action, Julaine works to strengthen and preserve marriage, family, life and liberty in The Badger State. Since 1997, Julaine has been actively involved in both the culture and the legislature with advancing the pro-life cause.  Julaine says one of her most memorable pro-life moments was when, after a strong pro-life coalition and grassroots’ effort, the University of Wisconsin-affiliated Madison Surgery Center decided to cancel its plan to do late second-trimester abortions.  A popular speaker, Julaine takes every opportunity to publicly denounce and expose Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and to champion the excellent work of Wisconsin’s pro-life organizations.

 Michelle McCauley

 

MICHELLE MCCAULEY: Michelle is the NW Ohio Field Director for Concerned Women for America.  She has a heart and a passion for post-abortive women.  She has served as a client advocate for close to 20 years at the Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Pregnancy Center for 10 years.  She is a Surrendering the Secret facilitator for women who have suffered through the devastation of abortion.  Michelle testified before the Ohio State Senate as a proponent of the Heartbeat Bill 125.  She ran for State Senate in 2012 on a pro-life platform.

Stephanie KriderSTEPHANIE KRIDER: Stephanie is the Director of Legislative Affairs at Ohio Right to Life. A passionate advocate for the right to life, Stephanie regularly lobbies the state legislature and works with state leadership to pass laws that will protect human life in every form. Stephanie was previously employed at the Ohio House of Representatives full-time as a legislative aide from 2005 until 2009. She managed legislation within the House Health and Criminal Justice committees, working on legislation dealing with the issue of abortion in both committees. \

Denise Leipold

DENISE LEIPOLD: Denise Leipold has been a pro-life advocate in her community and church for many years.  She has testified many times before the Ohio House and Senate for the passage of stricter laws to regulate abortion, and is further involved in activities to change the hearts and minds of abortion minded individuals to help save lives right now.  She collaborates with pro-life organizations throughout the state to unify and strengthen the culture of life.

Erin Cain

ERIN CAIN: As the Director of External Affairs of Ohio Right to Life, Erin works with chapter affiliates across the state of Ohio, establishing grassroots efforts and keeping leaders informed about pro-life legislation and events. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in English and a minor in Professional Writing. Erin was raised in a big pro-life family and is dedicated to instilling a respect for human life in her community and across the nation.

Rachelle Heidlebaugh

RACHELLE HEIDLEBAUGH: Rachelle is the NW Ohio Field Director for CCVAction.org.   She is also a member of Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill Team and Ohio Pro Life Action for whom she testified in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate on behalf of all women who have suffered an abortion and the oppressive burdens it exerts on every part of their lives.  Rachelle is an affiliate of Abortion Recovery International, Silent No More, Surrendering The Secret, Ramah International, and a witness to the healing power of Jesus Christ for the ‘ Abortion Recovery ’ in her life.

Janelle Basham


JANELLE BASHAM: Janelle is the Director of the Liberty Godparent Home (LGH), a residential program for young ladies facing the many issues that accompany an unplanned pregnancy. Prior to joining the LGH team, she began working with Family Life Services in 2000 as an Adoption Case Worker. She had the pleasure of assisting birth parents who were considering adoption plans, families hoping to adopt and connecting adult adoptees with their birth families. Janelle is the co-founder of Truly Transformed Ministries and co-author of the book Released and Delivered: Pregnant at 16: from regret to redemption.

 Patricia Phillips

PATRICIA PHILLIPS: Patricia has a long history of standing up for life in her role as that State Director for Concerned Women for America of Virginia for 10 years, and as a candidate for State Senate in the 33rd district.  Now she is the Northern Virginia field director for She Votes 2012, a grass roots project of Concerned Women for America focused on getting conservative women engaged in the upcoming election.

Carol Rener

CAROL RENER: The grandmother of 9 wonderful grandchildren, Carol is currently chairperson of the Siouxland Interfaith Pro-life Prayer Memorial and co-chair of the Sioux City Life-Chains. She has been a sidewalk counselor for many years.  She organized the Fleet for Little Feet Mobile Pregnancy Center from Sioux Falls being brought to Planned Parenthood on abortion days.  She has been a past board member of Mary's Choice Pregnancy Center and has organized pro-life booths at Woodbury and Ida county fairs.

Sue Thayer

SUE THAYER: Sue worked for nearly 18 years as the center manager of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Storm Lake, Iowa. She was fired in December 2008 when tele-med abortion was being introduced in every Planned Parenthood in Iowa.  Sue has gone on to become a strong voice for life and has been instrumental in educating the public about the tragedy of abortion and specifically tele-med abortion. Sue recently led Storm Lake’s first ever 40 Days for Life campaign at the very clinic she supervised for so many years.

 Amanda Haas 

AMANDA HAAS: A graduate of Liberty University, after being confronted with the reality of abortion in America as a freshman in college Amanda was compelled to change direction from pursuing an acting career to one in politics. Since then, Amanda has led the Concerned Women for America chapter on her campus and used this group to further the pro-life cause in the nation through campus fundraisers, awareness events, and prayer meetings.  She is a recipient of the the Susan B. Anthony List Young Leader Award for her pro-life activism and has spoken at schools, national press conferences, rallies, and fundraisers to educate and inspire others to get engaged in ending abortion in America.

Diane Horvath

DIANE HORVATH: A wife and proud mother of two, Diane supports the pro-life movement as a Warren County Right to Life board member fighting to pass pro-life legislation like the Heartbeat Bill and supporting pro-life political candidates.  Diane has been involved locally and at the state level as an active member of the Republican Party as a Precinct Captain.  An educator for over 20 years licensed in teaching, school counseling and as a principal, Diane is still a teacher of young children in her church and is dedicated to saving the youth of tomorrow.

 Linda Theis 

LINDA J. THEIS: Active in pro-life work since the mid 1970s, Linda is a past President of Ohio Right to Life and has served as ORTLs Political Action Chairman and as Legislative Director.  She is now President of Ohio ProLife Action, a statewide organization established to pass HB 125, Ohio's Heartbeat Bill.  Linda is also presently Director of the C.A.R.E. Program, the educational prevention program of Women's Resource Center of Hancock County. She lives in Findlay, Ohio and is the mother of six and grandmother of 11.

Ann Barrick

ANN BARRICK: Since 2007, Ann has organized peaceful prayer campaigns outside a Toledo abortion facility.  She is also the founder of ProLifeConnection, an organization which began simply as a comprehensive website to give people information about the various niches within the pro-life movement.  It has since expanded to include monthly “Pro-life Info Nights” and “Youth Hours of Prayer” as well as the annual “Northwest Ohio Life Fair”.  Closest to Ann’s heart in her pro-life work is “Stand & Pray”, the weekly prayer and sidewalk counseling that enables her to reach out to abortion-bound women.  Her most important role, however, is as wife and mother.

Bobbi Radeck

BOBBI RADECK: Bobbi is the State Director of Concerned Women for America Ohio Field Director for the SheVotes2012 and active in all aspects of CWA’s  Six Core issues. She is also a member of Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill Team and Ohio Pro Life Action for whom she testified in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate for Concerned Women for America of Ohio. Bobbi  also sits on the board of Faith and Freedom Coalition of Ohio.

 Janet RobeyJANET ROBEY: Previously a volunteer for both Concerned Women for America and The Family Foundation, In 2007 Janet was asked assume the leadership for CWA in Virginia. She resides in Bedford with her husband of 39 years. Their daughter, Jennifer is in education, taking a sabbatical to be a stay at home mom.  Her husband is a Physician’s Assistant.  Their son, Christopher  is a KC-135 pilot with the Air Force, stationed at Altus AFB, Oklahoma.  His wife is also an educator, currently focusing on their three children under seven.
 Sharon GlassSHARON GLASS: Sharon is the mother of an aborted child which led to her long time pro-life leadership in Pensacola, Florida. Sharon spent many hours on the sidewalk outside of local abortion clinics talking to women about their life-changing decision. She was the Florida Director of I Believe in Life which was founded by national pro-life leader Penny Lea. Sharon was also the former director of a pro-life counseling center in Pensacola. Sharon believes strongly that no one who believes that life begins at conception should be forced by the Federal government to provide money for women make a decision that will change her life forever.
 Michele HerzogMICHELE HERZOG: Since 1988 Michele has been a strong advocate for life, speaking up for those who have no voice.  She was the co-founder of the True Majority, Women Speaking for Women, sending women to the United Nations Conferences and nationally representing another voice other then the feminist propaganda.  Michele later spent ten years in Wichita, KS sidewalk counseling in front of the infamous George Tiller’s late term abortuary, along with leading press conferences, and speaking before the Health and Human Service Committee in support of many life saving bills. She is now the Branch Manager of Pro-Life Action Ministries Central Florida,

Winnie BellWINNIE BELL: Winnie Bell is a life long Florida resident, a wife, mother of two and proud grandma of five.  Winnie became involved in the sidewalk counseling ministry after she heard her Pastor preaching about abortion. Her heart was gripped, which led her to attend a Silent No More prayer vigil.  In 2009 she began her journey to reach mothers and save babies with the gospel of Jesus Christ, through weekly prayer vigils and sidewalk counseling ministry outside Orlando abortion mills.
Ann Lauren

 

ANN LAUREN MORRIS: A second generation Pro-Life Activist following in the footsteps of her mother, Ginny Rooney, a pro-life leader in California and Florida, Ann Lauren currently serves on the Board of Directors for Florida Right to Life. Ann Lauren is also the past President and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Volusia County Right to Life. She is a conservative activist promoting the election of pro-life candidates and the reversal of the HHS Mandate in Obamacare, "the preservation of our lst Amendment Right of Freedom of Religion is critical to people of all faiths. We must demand that government coercion of conscience is reversed.Women will see though the Obamacare rhetoric".

 

VickyVICKY PREISSER CONROY: A native of Pensacola, Florida, Vicky became active in the pro life movement in 1979 and operated a crisis line in her home from 1981 through 1985 where they saw a reduction in the number of abortions in Escambia County by up to 200. In 1984 she founded an organization called Legal Action for Women (LAW) to assist women Injured by legal abortion. They operate two toll free numbers nationwide and have seen 11 clinics close due to their efforts, four of which were in Florida. Vicky has testified before the Florida legislature on the safety and health issue of abortion.
