Current Legislation: Budgetary and Regulatory Measures
Many critical budgetary and regulatory policies affect the level of protection our government offers women and their innocent unborn children. Longstanding budget restrictions like the Hyde Amendment must be renewed by Congress every time they pass an annual budget. Regulations passed by the executive branch can change from administration to administration. The pro-abortion Congress will consider several important budgetary protections this year. We can also expect President Obama to alter or outright repeal many of President Bush’s pro-life regulatory protections. Take a look at some of the non-legislative protections for unborn children that need our best efforts for protection this year. |
