Maura Butler is Programs Analyst for the Susan B. Anthony List.  Maura keeps the SBA List on track to achieve our annual goals in areas of fundraising, membership and issue advocacy. She also contributes some writing on topics like abortion, stem cell research, cloning and other issues associated with the pro-life cause. She has worked with the Susan B. Anthony List for three years, and has studied issues in bioethics for over ten years, working in both academic and clinical settings.

Maura earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.  After a year of volunteer service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Maura graduated with her Masters degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She also works with the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity. She and her husband, Chris, live in Washington, DC with their son, Jude, and daughter, Dorothy.
