SBA List President thanks activists nationwide for contacting Minority Leader Boehner to ask him to stand up for Life at the White House health care summit on Thursday.

As the Health Care Summit between President Obama and congressional leaders approaches, the Susan B. Anthony List, in coalition with 31 nation and statewide pro-life groups, sent President Obama a letter urging him to listen to the pro-life American majority. The health care debate has divided the country, but there has been one area of consistent bipartisan consensus: across all demographics, Americans do not want taxpayer-funded abortion in health care reform. As Republican leaders prepare for their meeting with the President, 31 nation and statewide pro-life groups sent a letter reminding them of the one true bipartisan issue in health care reform. Seventy two percent of Americans agree that taxpayer dollar should not be used to fund abortion on-demand. Stupak language must be added to any health care bill and we will work endlessly to support members of Congress who work for Life.
