Pro-abortion groups eagerly jumped on the Mother's Day gift

Ironically, pro-choice advocacy organizations - dedicated to promoting abortion and preventing motherhood at all costs - offered special gifts for Mom.

EMILY's List, the largest pro-abortion political action committee issued an advertisement to pro-choice women to purchase the "perfect gift" for your wonderful mother figure, an EMILY's List 2005 membership. "What is better than giving the gift of more pro-choice Democratic women at every level of government?" In other words, electing women to Congress who are committed to preserving abortion-on-demand in America and ensuring women never become mothers! For just $100, you too could give the woman who gave you life this amazing present!

The National Organization for Women (NOW) also offered gifts for Mom last Sunday such as "Wild Women" pins and T-shirts with the slogans "Outrageous Older Woman" and "Don't Assume I Cook." The most ridiculous item is the "Keep Abortion Alive" bracelet. These gifts completely disregard the role of being a mom. NOW decided to utilize Mother's Day to promote their pro-abortion mission by degrading American moms.

It is ironic that leading pro-choice groups tried to fuse together a holiday that celebrates motherhood, childbirth and the creation of life with a mission to destroy life. These groups are truly out of touch with American mothers who nurture, love, and cherish their children. On Mother's day we give thanks to our mothers for giving us life, not death.
