On Wednesday, June 10th the U.S. House approved the Foreign Relations Authorization bill, which creates an Office for Global Women's Issues. This office will promote many good things, but it will also be promoting abortions in other countries. Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) tried to offer an Amendment prohibiting the office from promoting abortion, but this was rejected. The House voted 235-187 to pass the bill. The Susan B. Anthony List and many other pro-life organizations opposed this bill.

Please contact your Senators and tell them to oppose the House version of the Foriegn Relations Authorization Act.
