On February 1st, Live Action Films released the first of several explosive undercover videos which exposed Planned Parenthood's corporate corruption and willingness to aid and abet the alleged sex trafficking of children as young as 14.
Since then seven videos covering four states have been released showing Planned Parenthood clinic staff from the top down covering up the abuse of young girls, all while receiving over $300 million in taxpayer dollars each year. Enough is enough.

Get the Facts: President Obama’s Unyielding Loyalty to Planned Parenthood
President Obama likes to talk a lot about compromise. But when it comes to taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, America’s abortion giant, Obama’s loyalty is unyielding.
After all, Planned Parenthood is one of President Obama’s top political allies. During the 2008 and 2010 election cycles alone, Planned Parenthood spent over $1.7 million dollars to help elect President Obama and support his fellow pro-abortion Democrats. [1] [2]
And since taking over the Oval Office, President Obama has rewarded Planned Parenthood by going above and beyond to protect their hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding.During fiscal year 2009, Planned Parenthood reported receiving over $363 million dollars in government grants and contracts – an all-time record – boosting their annual budget to over $1 billion. [3]
Following the release of the Live Action videos, the pro-life majority in the House of Representatives attempted to defund Planned Parenthood. When Speaker Boehner demanded that the cut be a part of the final Continuing Resolution deal to keep the federal government from shutting down, President Obama refused to cut a dime. When pushed by Speaker Boehner to agree to cuts, President Obama responded, “Nope, zero. Nope, zero. John, this is it.” [4]
Thanks to special protection from President Obama, not a dime was cut from Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding at the federal level. However, since the federal fight, nine states across the country have defunded Planned Parenthood of over $60 million. [5] The Obama Administration has responded by trying to strong-arm and even bypass the decisions made by these states.

Lila Rose leads Live Action Film's undercover video bust. Across the country, Planned Parenthood clinic staff show they're willing to help pimps get the "health care" they need for the underage, trafficked girls that they manage.
Two months later, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards made the claim that low-income women would be denied mammograms if Planned Parenthood was defunded of our taxdollars, even though Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms.

Chiaroscuro Foundation Planned Parenthood Fact Sheet
The pro-life Chiaroscuro Foundation recently released a concise five-page report showing:
Planned Parenthood is extraordinarily wealthy in its own right, and does not need tax dollars to continue to operate.
Planned Parenthood is an abortion organization. It performs about one in every four abortions in the U.S. Ninety eight percent of Planned Parenthood’s services to pregnant women are abortion.
More government funding of Planned Parenthood has corresponded with increased number of abortions there.
Abortions constitute about 37% of Planned Parenthood’s revenue. Abortion patients constitute about 11% of all Planned Parenthood clients.
Planned Parenthood touts its “preventative services” but they all seem to have failed to prevent the problems they claim to solve. Rates of non-marital births and sexually transmitted diseases are increasing, and rates of abortion remain very high or are increasing.
Planned Parenthood is not a significant primary care provider for women. Poor women and women generally, have options for seeking primary care, contraception, STI testing, and cancer screening.
Abortion and birth control are constitutionally protected services. Defunding Planned Parenthood cannot change this fact, or deprive Planned Parenthood of their freedom to continue to provide these services.
Economic & Fiscal Groups Support Defunding Planned Parenthood
Led by Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a group of 29 fiscal groups signed a letter to House Speaker John Boehner and the Republican House Leadership calling for the Defunding of Planned Parenthood. At the same time, SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser published an op-ed with ATR President Grover Norquist.

SBA List National Media Campaign
When Planned Parenthood took aim at the pro-life Members of Congress who stood up for women, girls and taxpayers with their vote for the Pence amendment, the SBA List had to fight back. By running competing ads with Planned Parenthood in the districts of Reps. Randy Hultgren (IL-14), Joe Walsh (IL-08), Frank Guinta (NH-02), Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-08) Patrick Meehan (PA-07), and Ann Marie Buerkle (NY-25), the SBA List was able to stand up in support of Members of Congress who stepped forward for Life.
Coinciding with the local radio and television ad campaign was the SBA List & Live Action Film's Women Speak Out: Defund Planned Parenthood Bus Tour. The 11-stop tour led by SBA List Votes Have Consequences Project Director former Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave and Lila Rose visited seven states and garnered national media attention.
As the battle to defund Planned Parenthood intensifies, the SBA List is turning attention back to Washington, DC where the Continuing Resolution battle is raging. In partnership with other pro-life groups, the SBA Education Fund is running a TV Ad featuring former PP director Abby Johnson – airing on DC cable through April 7th, as well as a Radio Ad airing on WTOP News and WMAL.
