Multi-State Tour Targets Senators Opposing Popular 5 Month Abortion Limit

National pro-life groups Concerned Women for America, Family Research Council Action, Students for Life of America, and the Susan B. Anthony List announced the launch of a multistate “Summer of Life” tour to bring awareness to the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. The legislation, which has been passed by the U.S. House and would limit abortions after 5 months -- or more than halfway through pregnancy -- is currently being blocked in the U.S. Senate by Majority Leader Harry Reid and his pro-abortion allies.

Rep. Bustos Attempts to Conceal Extreme Pro-Abortion Record

This morning, the national pro-life Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund blasted Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL) for concealing her support for abortion on-demand up until the moment of birth. The Wall Street Journal has reported that, nationwide, candidates endorsed by the pro-abortion EMILY’s List are avoiding the issue of abortion this election cycle. Yesterday, the New York Times also reported that the abortion lobby is purposefully changing its messaging to avoid the subject of abortion and “shunning” the term “pro-choice.”

Pro-life Women Slam Senate Democrats and GOP Outliers for Waging War on Religious Liberty

“Senate Democrats and a few wayward Republicans just voted against religious freedom for their constituents and all Americans. It’s a radical vote. Women Speak Out PAC Launches $100,000 Initial Ad buy Against Kay Hagan

“Senator Kay Hagan is so out of step on abortion that she even refuses to protect unborn children after five months of pregnancy. North Carolinians disagree with her on this,” said Women Speak Out PAC President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Polls show that the majority of Americans – and women in higher numbers than men – support legislation to protect women and their children from dangerous late abortions. Abortion industry leader Planned Parenthood has pledged $3 million to the Hagan campaign so far, clearly appreciative of her ardent advocacy of its wildly unpopular positions. From now until Election Day, Women Speak Out PAC will communicate Senator Hagan’s extreme position to North Carolina voters.”
