WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced its endorsement of Jackie Walorski for reelection in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District.
“For the last two years, Congresswoman Walorski has been an outspoken and passionate advocate for unborn children, their mothers, and pro-life taxpayers,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “She is exactly the type of candidate the Susan B. Anthony List exists to support. We look forward to her victory in November and sending her back to Washington to carry on in the fight for life.”
Last year, Rep. Walorski joined other members of the House Pro-life Women’s Caucus on the floor in support of H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This historic pro-life legislation was passed thanks to the efforts of pro-life women in Congress. Rep. Walorski also co-sponsored H.R. 7, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2014, as well as H.R. 217, the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act in 2013. Since her election to Congress in 2012, Jackie Walorski has maintained a 100 percent pro-life voting record with the National Right to Life Committee.
As the incumbent, Rep. Walorski is the only woman and the only Republican for Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District.
