WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced its endorsement of Leslie Rutledge for Attorney General in Arkansas.
“As the next Attorney General of Arkansas, we can count on Leslie Rutledge to defend the state’s current and future pro-life laws that protect unborn children, women, and taxpayers,” said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “With Planned Parenthood and its allies constantly trying to thwart pro-life laws in the courts, Arkansas must have an Attorney General like Leslie Rutledge who will boldly defend laws that save lives. We are proud to endorse her candidacy.”
Leslie Rutledge is an Arkansas lawyer who has spent her career in public service as a prosecutor. In addition, Leslie Rutledge has served as Deputy Counsel to the Office of Governor Mike Huckabee, Deputy Counsel for Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign, Deputy Counsel at the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Counsel for the Republican National Committee. She has received the endorsement of Governor Mike Huckabee.
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel (D) is term-limited. Leslie Rutledge will compete in the Republican primary on May 20.
