Jaime Herrera Beutler has a lifelong record of commitment to serving the interests of women and the unborn. As a Washington State Representative, Jaime Herrera maintained a 100% pro-life voting record and served on the Health Care and Wellness Committee, the Human Services Committee, and the Transportation Committee. Prior to serving in elected office, Herrera Beutler served as a senior legislative aide to SBA List endorsed incumbent Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) and the two now serve side-by-side in the U.S. House of Representatives.
During her first term in Congress, she earned a 100% NRLC pro-life voting score and co-sponsored the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act. At 33 years of age, Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler is the youngest woman currently serving in the U.S. Congress and the first Hispanic to represent Washington State. Following her election, she was named to MSNBC’s “Top 10 Latino Politicians to Watch” and continues to be recognized as a rising star in the Republican Party.
