Our grassroots lobbying program works to mobilize pro-life citizen activists to contact their legislators, and urge their Members of Congress to cast votes in defense of Life.

The Susan B. Anthony List never stops lobbying on Capitol Hill for critical measures to protect the unborn and their mothers. With the partnership of dedicated SBA List activists, we can multiply our efforts to fight anti-life legislation at every stage of the legislative process.

Our cutting edge Legislative Action Center allows pro-life activists to instantly contact their representatives about important pro-life legislation. Our state of the art system directs pro-life activists to concise legislative descriptions and sample letters on pending legislative issues.

Visitors can immediately send letters in defense of Life to their Members of Congress via email. Each letter can also be edited and customized, allowing activists to include personal insights in their letters. With the click of a button, an online army of pro-life grassroots activists springs into action.

In 2009, the Susan B. Anthony List reached a milestone when we surpassed our goal of 300,000 letters to Congress for the year. Overall in 2009, we generated more than 1.5 million letters to Congress, a 600% increase in activism over previous years.
